Golden Goose Superstar Sneakers That Are Making Waves
I’ve been a fan of Golden Goose Deluxe Brand for a while. They were founded in 2000 after merging the creative spirit of Francesca Rinaldo and Alessandro Gallo in Italy. Through the years, they have evolved into a major designer brand with boutiques all over the world, and it’s one that style enthusiasts really love.
I’ve followed Golden Goose for ages and I would often check out the collection on FarFetch, as they always had an amazing selection, but I never ended up getting any because I always thought they were quite expensive and looked too similar to Converse, so they were always shoes that were just in the back of my mind. A few years earlier, Adam was the one who first got into the brand and he actually got his first pair of their Superstar sneakers last year, which was what made me pay more attention. After checking out his pair and noticing that no two pairs are alike because they’re crafted by hand in Italy, I was more intrigued. As the Golden Goose Superstar sneakers are pre-distressed and made to look used and abused, they are all hand done so there’s no two pairs alike. Some have much more abrasions and dirt than others, so the variation is wide.
If you’re buying at a store, it might be a good idea to ask to see a few of the same shoe and select from them, but if you’re ordering online, you have to roll the dice!The pair of sneakers that I originally fell in love with first are the ones above in the main image, as they’ve been on the market forever, but I never ended up purchasing them.
I actually ended up getting the silver pair from Shopbop, and they’re a pair I have worn on and off over the years (see here and my Golden Goose review here). I really enjoy them! I bought another pair identical and customized them with black laces and a burgundy star, so they’re really fresh! I also own a pair of wine-toned velvet finish, and two pairs of high tops! I do definitely want black golden goose sneakers a new black version, but I have a pair of Converse in black canvas, so I’m not sure I should double up, even though they’re different.

These are the best sneakers I own.
I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose are just on another level.
